Preventing Maritime Accidents
SEA AID is a ground breaking solution that addresses the critical challenge of maritime accidents caused by human error. Using IoT, AI, and sensors, it offers real-time monitoring, predictive analysis, multiple warnings, and engine cut-off capabilities, retrofittable to any vessel for marina safety.
1. SEA AID’s radar, infrared, and LiDAR sensors scan the front and sides of the boat for hazards as it is moving.
2. When a potential hazard is detected by the range of sensors, it sends an alert to the captain of the vessel via a touchscreen module, with both visual and audio warnings.
3. If no action is taken to override this warning, the system automatically cuts the fuel supply to the engine.

SEA AID reduces accidents by tackling human error and improving situational awareness. This system enhances safety, reduces accident frequency, and supports controlled navigation, especially around the marina.
Instant feedback and real-time data from the variety of sensors allows for safer navigation, minimising the chances of accidents or collisions that could lead to expensive repairs, ecological harm or injury.
The system is designed to retrofit any vessel effortlessly. With a straightforward installation—just drill a hole in the upper hull and secure the sensor—you’ll elevate your boat’s safety and enjoy peace of mind on the water.
SEA AID adapts to all conditions, working reliably in low visibility, at night, and in crowded marinas. Its sensors detect hazards regardless of weather or lighting, giving captains confidence to prevent accident in any environment.
The SEA AID sensors, mounted securely with water-tight gaskets and a gimbal stabiliser to the front and sides of the vessel, stay level with the horizon to detect hazards as the boat moves. Using numerous sensors, it scans for obstacles and relays real-time data to the command module.
The touchscreen IoT module, located in the bridge, receives hazard alerts from the sensors, processing the data to display audible and visual warnings for the captain to process. A simple touch on the screen allows the captain to override alerts as desired, ensuring both control and convenience.
SEAAID is an innovative, mission driven project led by ANSHU MARWAHA, designed by a team of Marine Experts, and backed by CHM GLOBAL.
Inspired by her prior experience as an Admin Director in a marine organisation, Anshu recognized the frequent dangers faced by small boat seafarers.
As the Director of CHM Global, a marine service provider company, SEAAID has been planned and developed as a straightforward and affordable solution to not only address the real-world challenges but enhance the safety and efficiency of maritime navigation.
